Day 1
Rammang-Rammang to Malino
A boat up the Pute river, the caves at Berua and coffee at a local home, then up to the Malino highlands.
Day 2
Malino on foot or by bike
Village paths with stops at a school and a waterfall. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 3
To Bira via Tana Beru
Drive through Sinjai to Tana Beru, where pinisi boats are built, then to a hotel on Bara beach.
Day 4
Liukang island
Snorkeling and swimming, with a barbecue lunch on the island.

Back to Makassar
About five hours by road, stopping for lammang at Allu and palm wine at a roadside stall.
